Summary

Second remake of Big Ass Monkey (1933) takes everyone's favorite giant ape back to his 1930s roots, where he participates in the Olympic Games, shatters all records, later is accused of steroid abuse, stripped of his medals.

Director Rodney Wendon wanted to do a version of Big Ass Monkey (1933) since he was inspired by the original as a little boy and would make little models of apes and dinosaurs, much to the consternation of his parents who were worried that he wasn't getting enough grief from bullies because he was a fan of The Journey to Mount Geek: The Brotherhood of Geeks (2001). Kids, huh?
