Summary

In the near future, an L.A. detective must apprehend escaped human-like androids that are being recalled because a faulty saliva chip causes them to drool at inopportune moments. From Owen J. Legge's novel "Why Couldn't I Have Made Money From Adaptations Of My Work When I Was Alive?"

Director

Grantham Long

Cast

Didja Know?

  • Before the film's release, studio executives added an animated puppy named Tickles who explained the plot to the audience. This was later removed by director Lamport and replaced by a floating baby who could only be seen by Cross' character, that would cover his eyes and say, "You can't see me." A special "Director's Ego Trip" DVD was reissued that included many deleted scenes that were discovered in the box containing Hilary Clinton's missing Whitewater papers. This DVD was superceded five months later by the "No, This Is the Real Director's Ego Trip, Get Rid of That Other Piece of Garbage" that included more deleted scenes that were originally sealed inside a metal drum and hidden inside a saguaro in the Sonoran Desert. The "Trust Us, This Is Really, Really the Director's Ego Trip, We Swear to God and Hope to Die Reissue" DVD will be available next month.
  • Once ignored, shunned, and reviled by critics, this is now widely considered an imperishable, indisputable masterpiece. According to the Revisionism Statute of Limitations, it will be ignored, shunned, and reviled again in approximately five more years.
